Scream Effects Co were approached by a client to produce 100 “Magical Bottles” and 20 florals for an escape room in the Netherlands.

We were tasked with making sure the bottles were plastic, unique and filled with different contents but making sure none contained any liquid.

The florals were to be magical and unusual in looks to fit in a magical world and be in terracotta style pots, but they had to be tactile enough to withstand being moved by guests.

We sourced lots of different colors and shaped bottles each was filled with a unique filling with some having coloured expanding foam being applied inside to give the effect of liquids whiled remaining light weight. Each bottle had its own unique label designed and printed in house with a final scenic touch being applied to age them,

The plants were created using a mix of faux flowers that were manipulated to appear different and custom created pieces, The pots are plastic with a plaster cast wrapping to give a light weight feel which was scenic painted to give terracotta look, PU foam was used as a way to create a solid light weight core which also appears as a soil base with moss being added to give it the illusion of real dirt. The florals were then poked though the foam before being glued in place.
