Scream Effects Co were tasked with creating a Miniature model based on the original haunted house façade at the Alton Towers resort for a private collection.

The main frame of the house is a mixture of MDF And PLY with detailing cladding being made from plastic that was hand scored to make the mortar lines, The roof was created by cladding the subframe with balsa wood which was then scored to produce the look of tiles.

The Tower was created from a card tube which had plastic card stock wrapped around it which was then scored is a similar fashion to the main house.

​

In addition, Lighting was added though out which meant the creation of tiny hand made candelabras in two of the house windows, and several portrait lights in the vestibule.

 

Every detail on or inside the house was created by hand without the use of a 3D printer. some items were sourced such as the use of real branches & modelers grass
