Scream Effects Co was approached By Head Creative Matthew Lee at Walsall scare maze to consult on the main storyline, produce the audio and write a new pre-show, as well as train the actors and assist in the organization and running of a new batching system for the 2023 Halloween event.

Scream Effects Co worked closely with the team at Walsall to ensure that the deadline for all the works was completed on time, The works included: Writing, recording and editing the new pre-show in studio and ensuring onsite installation of scenic work was carried out to a high standard. Aswell as the training of the actors, and venue hosts on new batching procedures.

The Batching procedure was a requested change from Mathew as the previous way of queuing for the attraction was no longer satisfactory. And as such most of the que line area was ripped out to form a new large preshow room. However, with the outside Que line area not being changed it meant a new batch procedure had to be implemented to ensure the wait time did not increase due to the loss of available area. This was achieved by utilizing the preshow to be also a batching area and show start area without guest feeling like they are waiting.

 

The pre-show was a total of 1 minute 30 second Audio loop that involved the set up to the story as well as incorporating special effects and lighting.
